Longstone Athletics team

The Athletics team is made up of 20 P6 and 7's

(10 boys 10 girls) and 2 subs.

The team was very successful at their first competition and won with the girls winning all their events and the boys only

losing a few which meant that the team had qualifiied for the Edinburgh Final.

The Edinburgh final was much harder we were competing against the best 8 teams in Edinburgh. The girls came

first and second in most of their events and the boys mostly doing the same except on a few events-six lap parluffe.

We did so well that we won with Bonaly in 2nd and Carricknowe in 3rd. We had qualified to the Scottish schools final.
