26 Jan 2008 - Top Longstone Athletes to represent Edinburgh in Sports Event

Five of our primary 7 pupils were selected to represent Edinburgh in The East of Scotlaand Regional Championships. Sophie, Ryan, Lauren M, Rosie, Danni and Emma were all chosen because of their amazing performances at the qualifying heats. This is a huge honour 

The pupils took part in a competition at Meadowbank Stadium where they were runners up to a team from Argyll.  This qualifies them  for the next round which will be held in Dundee later in the year.

The pupils are currently training hard for this event.  We wish them good luck.
